Two brand-new series—one scripted drama and one unscripted comedy—rank among Hulu's most popular TV shows this past week, joining a diverse list of familiar shows that range from procedurals to satires.
"Under the Bridge" is Hulu's new original series starring recent Academy Award nominee Lily Gladstone alongside Riley Keough. The true crime drama is adapted from the 2005 nonfiction book of the same name by Rebecca Godfrey, which is based on a true story. The eight-episode series follows the shocking investigation of the 1997 disappearance of 14-year-old Reena Virk. Gladstone plays a police officer working the case while Keough plays Godfrey, a novelist and nonfiction writer investigating Virk's story herself. The first two episodes of "Under the Bridge" premiered on Hulu on April 17, with new episodes launching each Wednesday.
