Though it has been screened at numerous film festivals, it does not have any theatrical release dates set outside of Europe.

In this musical film, a stand-up comedian and his famous singer wife deal with the unexpected consequences in their life after the arrival of a daughter who has a unique talent. Starring Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard, the film is French director Leos Carax’s first English-language film. The film wrapped shooting in 2019 and has a release planned for 2021 in the U.S., but no date is scheduled as of yet.

Momentum Picture acquired distribution rights, but the film does not have any release dates yet.

The film had its world premiere in 2019 at the Venice Film Festival with a planned theatrical release from MUBI in 2020 but instead went to streaming for the United Kingdom, Europe, and India. However, distribution rights had previously been acquired by the U.S.

Purported to be a modern take on “Rosemary’s Baby,” this horror film features a star-studded cast including Ilana Glazer, Justin Theroux, Sophia Bush, and Pierce Brosnan. Currently, it has planned releases for fall 2020 in the Netherlands and 2021 in the U.K., Europe, and Argentina, with no dates for the U.S. beyond its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival back in January.

Starring Dev Patel, Joel Edgerton, Alicia Vikander, Sean Harris, and Barry Keoghan, the film is being distributed by A24 and was set to have its world premiere at the since-cancelled 2020 South by Southwest Festival, with a theatrical release May 29. Because of the pandemic, it was pulled from the release schedule.

Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of another one of its classic animated films is set to star actress Halle Bailey in the role of Ariel, with a star-studded cast including Melissa McCarthy, Awkwafina, Jacob Tremblay, Megan Fox, and Idris Elba. Production was set to start in April but has since been delayed because of COVID-19, with no official postponed start date set.

It was planned to hit theaters in August, but because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the film was pulled from the schedule and no longer has any release date listed.

This drama film starring Tilda Swinton follows a Scottish orchid farmer who visits her ailing sister in Colombia and forms a friendship with two very different people while she’s there, all while becoming obsessed with strange sounds. The film is director Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s first English-language film. Distribution rights were acquired by NEON, though it only has 2021 in the U.S. listed as its release date.

This drama film from A24 starring Steven Yeun follows a Korean American family who moves to a farm in Arkansas, looking to plant their roots in the country. Their plan, however, is upended by the arrival of the family’s grandmother. Sundance Film Festival held the film’s world premiere, where it won both the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award and the U.S. Dramatic Grand Jury Prize. Beyond two release dates for Europe in fall 2020, it has no release set for the U.S.

The newest comedy from New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi is adapted from the documentary of the same name. The cast includes Michael Fassbender, Elisabeth Moss, Rhys Darby, Rachel House, and Armie Hammer, and it began post-production in January 2020, with no release date yet.

The film also stars Rashida Jones, Marlon Wayans, Jenny Slate, Jessica Henwick, and Barbara Bain and has since completed production, though with its release only listed as “2020” for the U.S.

Though scheduled for a mid-April release, it was pulled because of the pandemic and has yet to be rescheduled.

The film stars Lily James, Armie Hammer, Sam Riley, Kristin Scott Thomas, Keeley Hawes, and Ann Dowd, and it is directed by Ben Wheatley, who previously directed “High Rise” and “Free Fire.” It has a listed release date of only “2020” for the U.K. and U.S.

Soon, the daughter begins to suspect that her mother is harboring a dark secret. Though it was previously scheduled to be released May 8, 2020, it has since been pulled, Lionsgate wishing to wait until there is more clarity on theater reopenings and safety.

After being traumatized, an impressionable young nurse finds religion and becomes obsessed with saving the soul of an ailing yet hedonistic dancer. Starring Morfydd Clark in director Rose Glass’ feature debut, the film was set to be released April 10 and was later moved to July 17 because of the pandemic. It has since been pulled from the schedule entirely.

This action film tells the real-life story of a former U.S. government agent who leaves his job with the Department of Homeland Security in order to rescue children from sex trafficking rings. Starring Mira Sorvino, Jim Caviezel, and Bill Camp, the film has completed post-production but does not have any listed release date yet other than 2020.

Amazon Studios has since acquired distribution rights, though there is no release date scheduled.

From acclaimed director and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, of “The West Wing” and “The Social Network” fame, comes this true story of seven people who were convicted of various charges having to do with an uprising in 1986 at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. The film stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jeremy Strong, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It was picked up by Netflix for distribution rights, though it does not have a release date more specific than sometime in 2020.

A trailer released back in February promised that the film was “coming soon,” though it is still awaiting a release by the distributor.

The film is set to star Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, Stanley Tucci, and Chris Rock. It is currently in post-production and set to release sometime in 2021.

With an all-star cast including Amy Adams, Anthony Mackie, Julianne Moore, and Gary Oldman, the film was set to be released mid-May but was indefinitely pulled because of COVID-19.

Starring Taylour Paige, Riley Keough, Nicholas Braun, and Colman Domingo, two strippers meet by chance and form a fast friendship, one of them promising a chance to dance at multiple clubs in Florida that’ll pay them big. When things go quickly awry, the titular Zola realizes she’s not in the situation that she thought she was. The film is based on an infamous Twitter thread from 2015. It premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired for distribution rights, but it does not yet have a release date.
